Previously, he served as a mergers and acquisitions specialist and a senior advisor with Smith Barney. MacFarlane was a founding member of Aquiline Capital Partners and Venturion Capital, both private equity investment firms specializing in the financial services industry. He is president and a founder of GPO Capital Corporation, a diversified alternative investment management company. MacFarlane is chairman of Meridian Development Partners, a real estate development company, and has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Ryan held previous engagements with several boutique firms including as an asset manager at Glaves & Associates, as a Senior Asset Manager at Taxserv LLC, as a Portfolio Manager for Kwartler and Associates and as a private consultant for a New York based high net worth mortgage, tax lien and real estate investor. Mr Ryan was responsible for acquisition and real estate disposition for their $100M+ annual acquisition platform and a real estate portfolio of more than $10 million. Ryan was a manager and disposition specialist for MDSass Investors Services. He also assisted Taxease in all aspects of its investment in other jurisdictions outside of the Northeast including Texas, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Florida. Ryan was directly responsible for the origination and subsequent purchases in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Washington DC. Ryan led tax lien acquisition, management and disposition strategies for the Northeast. Ryan was vice-president of business development for Taxease LLP, a $100+Million tax lien and tax loan origination and management platform wholly owned by Macquarie Capital. Ryan has more than 20 years in the tax lien and real estate related industries. Ryan is the director of asset management for Alterna Tax Asset Group. Konrad served as the chairman of the IAC. The Investment Council (“IAC”) provides independent oversight of SBA's funds and major investments responsibilities, ranging from the Florida Retirement System programs to the Lawton Chiles Endowment Fund. and comprises roughly three-quarters of total assets under SBA management. The Florida Retirement System (FRS) Pension Plan is the fourth largest public retirement plan in the U.S. The State Board of Administration, a constitutional entity of Florida state government, manages 30 investment funds, comprising over $184 billion in assets under management. Konrad served as a gubernatorial appointee to the Florida State Board of Administration - Investment Advisory Council. from Syracuse University, and began his career in the financial services industry during his career in the NFL. Konrad is also a director of Financial Management Systems, a Chicago based debt collections/data efficiency company working with the US Department of Education. Konrad is a principal of Alterna Tax Asset Group, a principal of Alterna Capital Management and the president & CEO of Alterna Financial LLC, parent company to Alterna Wealth Management and Alterna Capital Management. Friedman also held previous engagements as president of a retail company president of an AMEX listed company that he took public in 2000 chief operating officer of an AMEX listed internet company that he helped take public president of an investment banking firm and executive vice president and chief financial officer of a NYSE listed retail company with over $200 million in sales. Friedman helped build the mortgage asset management business from approximately $60 million to a portfolio of over $200 million in real estate-backed loans. Friedman was the director of Mortgage Asset Management for a diversified real estate lending, asset management and development group where he specialized in commercial mortgage lending and mortgage asset management. Prior to joining the General Partner, Mr. Friedman sat on the Board of Directors for the National Tax Lien Association (NTLA) from 2014-2018. Friedman is a principal of Alterna Tax Asset Group, a principal of Alterna Capital Management and president of the Alterna Mortgage Income Fund, a Commercial Real Estate Debt Fund.
